HOW TO GET YOUR MOBILE APPROVED BY PTA FROM HOME

Instead of standing in long lines at banks, how can you PTA-proof any phone you have while staying at home? I will tell you this, but before that, know and understand two or three things well if you have bought such a non-PTA phone.

You can use a phone that has not been used even for a day in Pakistan or a new or used phone that has come from abroad for a full 60 days without PTA approval in Pakistan. But if you have bought a non-PTA phone and its 60-day period has expired, then you will have to get it approved by PTA immediately, otherwise there will be no signal.

Thirdly, if you live abroad and have come to Pakistan for a few days or months, then you do not need to get your phone verified by the PTA at all. Overseas Pakistanis who come to Pakistan for a few days can use their phones for four months completely free of charge whenever they come to Pakistan.

So, you should note down all the IMEI numbers of the phone you want to get approved by PTA. And from any of your friends' numbers or from any other phone in your house, you have to dial the hash star 8484 hash.

Here, after you get to the reply, you have to press one and enter. Again you will click on Reply and press one and click on Reply.

Here you will get three options: Pakistan, Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. Now you will choose whichever region you live in.

You are sending a message with one option. Here you will get two options.

Reply Here you have to enter your ID card, after that you have a single SIM, double SIM, triple SIM phone, you have to choose the option.

After this, all the details that you have entered will be displayed in front of you. You have to note it down carefully.

Your ID card and both the IMEI numbers should be an exact match. Don't make any mistakes and when you are satisfied, click on Reply and hit Enter to reply.

And that's it. All the details of your reply have been forwarded to the PTA.

Now, in a short while, you will receive some messages. I will show them to you.

You will receive these four or five messages together at a time. In which you will be given the username and password of your login URL and you will get the tracking code of your application.

After these messages, you will receive two or three more messages. These are the ones in which you would have been told the PTA tax of your phone and also given the PSID code and along with that which phone you have approved.

The name of this phone, its model and both its IMEI numbers that you entered will be mentioned here so that you can be fully satisfied. When you are fully satisfied, you can enter the PSID here.

After that, you will open whatever option you have, like Jeez Cash, Easy Paisa or any bank application you are using, just like I open Jeez Cash. Go ahead and click on this payment option, you will see your option here, FBR will go into it and whatever PSID you have copied, you will paste it here and as soon as the fee is paid, it will be credited.

So, the payment will be displayed in front of you, including the payment that you received in messages, which becomes the duty of the FBR on your phone. Your payment will be submitted immediately and your phone PT will be approved within two to 48 hours.

Now you know how it has been approved. For this, you will receive this message within two hours, four hours, 10 hours, 20 hours or a maximum of two days.

In which you will be told that your custom duty has been paid, this phone has been verified, these are its IMEI numbers, you have paid this much and after all this you will be told that your device is approved. This is a simple procedure, you can easily unlock any type of iPhone or any brand of phone you have at home.

Now the question is, if you have come from abroad to stay in Pakistan for a few days, how will you prove your device is completely free of cost for four months? I understand that you can do this work from your laptop and also from your mobile, but a laptop will be much easier than this, so for this work you will visit PTA.GOV. PK You will see this option on this page of After signing up for mobile phone registration, you will sign in, then you will click on Agree.

As soon as you agree, three options will appear in front of you. Here, you will choose the first option, Temporary Registration and Overseas Pakistanis, here your CNIC will be automatically generated.

Here you will enter your passport, when did you enter Pakistan and what is the temporary date of your return from Pakistan. You have to choose whether your phone is single SIM or dual.

After that, you will check mark here and submit it and after that you have to enter the same details that we have done in the phone and after entering all those details, your phone will be PTA approved.
